Well, this is it, folks: the day that may very well determine the course of Georgetown’s 2012-13 basketball season. Reportedly around 8:45 p.m. tonight, standout center Nerlens Noel will make his decision as to where he will spend his next four years.
Oh, who am I kidding? In all likelihood, we all know Noel’s set to be a classic one-and-done, but in any case he should be a darn good one, as he’s projected to be the first pick in the 2013 draft. Having the Everett, Ma. native at the 5 to fill Hank’s shoes would surely go a long way towards getting the Blue and Gray back into the NCAA tournament.
Considering that, I do hope you’ll excuse the fact that this week’s link drop might just be a little disproportionately Nerlens-centric. Our entire school is basically at stake here, so I hope you understand that I’m just doing my best to contribute however I can.
